Potomac TRACON Operation Raincheck

Interested in seeing FAA air traffic controllers at work?  Want to ask some questions to the person on the other end of the radio?  Here's your chance.  YOU MUST REGISTER WITH THE FAA BY FOLLOWING THE LINK BELOW IN ORDER TO ATTEND.  RSVP'ing here does nothing, it will just allow you to see who else from the group is planning to attend.

Reposted from an FAA email:

Potomac TRACON brings back a modified Operation Raincheck event.  Attend a briefing about ATC operations in the DC metro area, ask questions of FAA management, controllers, FSDO, Flight Service and security elements.  Observe ATC traffic simulations and take a brief tour of the 3rd busiest approach control facility in the United States!

Event is open to pilots and their guests age 12 and older.  ALL PILOTS AND GUESTS MUST BE U.S. CITIZENS and have government issued photo identification.

All pilots and their guests must be registered.  Walk-ups will be turned away.

Demand for this event will exceed capacity.  If you remain registered and do not attend you will be taking a seat away from someone else.   If you become aware that you or any of your guests will not be able to attend, please re-visit this web page and cancel the registration of you and/or your guest(s).  If this event shows full please check back often as canceled reservations are made re-available.   After close of business Wednesday, October 10th, 2012 no new registrations will be accepted.
