Ganja Yoga

The House of Yoga

CA$20.00

Cannabis-enhanced yoga, with Dee's friend Lu. CANNABIS is among humanity's oldest and most useful cultivated crops, so it is not surprising to find that it has been intricately associated with spiritual awakening in many cultures and throughout history. Some ancient Indian yogis drank pot-milkshakes and smoked hash before meditation (and in other mystical traditions, use of ganja, or sacred mushrooms or other plant medicines was paramount to mystical discovery and experience). GANJA (along with other psychedelic drugs) stimulates an area of the brain called the ‘Pineal Gland’ – a tiny eye-shaped area between the eyebrows which, among other things, regulates light. In meditation, we activate this “third-eye chakra” (energy centre) to achieve greater spiritual awakening (“enlightenment”). Therefore, if you couple the psychedelic affects of cannabis with a meditative yoga practice, you may be able to awaken this area more quickly/deeply! Drop in $30 Monthly All class passes for $200 private session - $100 per hour in the studio. All fees include HST. Payment options: we accept cash, cheques, VISA, Mastercard or direct debit. About Lu: As well as an advocate for the holistic practice of yoga and nutrition, Lu is a cannabis and psychedelic activist, encouraging students who are drawn to wisely use plant medicines to transform their consciousness and find lasting joy. Students tell Lu that she's authentic, happy, peaceful, and grounded, (Dee would add: passionate and amazing). She loves sharing my gifts with the world!! Bring your own cannabis and yoga mat. PLEASE LET LU KNOW THAT I SENT YOU! - Dee Lu's facebook page, if you need to ask her anything related to class: https://www.facebook.com/ConsciousConsumption?ref=br_tf GANJA YOGA FREQUENTLY-ASKED-QUESTIONS Do I have to smoke ganja? No! – Yoga is great, whether altered or not. Sometimes students feel like using ganja to enhance their practice, and other times, having a yoga practice without ganja feels better. It’s always up to you. And it's always a great introverted experience, regardless of whether or not it's enhanced. How much should I smoke? I always recommend first-time students take less ganja than they usually do, so your experience of yoga is enhanced, not detracted from. If students smoke too much, it could hinder the experience of yoga. What if I haven’t done yoga in a long time? (Or have never done yoga) All ganja yoga is for all levels,

For more information on my coaching packages please visit http://www.thelusciousfeminine.com or to book a FREE 30-minute complimentary Discovery Call, email Amanda at [masked] “Before working with Amanda, I was the dried-out, work-obsessed intellectual. I lived in my head and felt completely severed from the neck-down. I over-intellectualized emotionally-charged situations to avoid being present…I am [now] able to ease my ‘mind-babble’, step into my power as a woman knowing that I am safe and secure within my own space, and practice expressing my needs and desires from a more authentic place… Amanda helped me to be trust in the power of vulnerability, surrender, and acceptance. It has been a pleasurable journey! ~ Stefanie T.
