Easter egg forage

Join us for an Easter egg hunt and plant ID. I will post the list of plants here the day before the hunt/forage so you can familiarize yourself with the plants. On the day of the hunt we will meet at the playground in Wyman Park on 33rd & Keswick Rd. Each egg will be placed by a forageable plant and will have a note inside telling a little something about that plant. After we have collected all the eggs and returned to the group we will take an ID walk.

I hope some of the Wyman Park Foragers will come out to join us!

I'm writing this as I'm eating stir-fried Japanese knotweed over rice, absolutely delicious, a culinary delight I would never have experienced had it not been for Eric, Jamie and the Easter egg forage - what more needs to be said?

Funny how the one that got took home and ate wasn't on the walk. Well, maybe it sorta was. I need to find a kitchen so we can do more cookery.
