Dell Computers sponsored 3D modeling and Formlabs printing event

Its been a while but we are doing another formlabs meetup in Brooklyn and this time its sponsored by Dell Computers. Its a great time to find out new develpments in 3D printing as well as meet up fellow 3D printing enthusiasts and 3D professionals.

For this FORMLABS meetup we'll have a formlabs rep here to speak about the new resins that formlabs have come out with. The rigid, new professional grey, the color kit and the new tough and durable resins. These new industrial grade materials have really opened up new possibilities in uses of the printers for a variety of materials.

We'll have all sorts of material samples ready to demonstrate new material properties. And we will be Auctioning off The new color Kit as well as a free 3D print of one of your files.

Dell Computers will be on hand to Demonstrate their new suite of Graphics centered products. They will have their Canvas touch screen pen enabled device here to use. We will have our systems here ready to go or you can plug your laptop in to use your own software and files. All you need is an HDMI port and the most recent WIndows update.

Dell will also have their precision all in one computers here to test out a selection of 2D and 3D graphics programs as well as their touchscreen enabled 2 in one laptop tablet combos. All of which have been hyper charged with powerful processors and great graphics cards to work with professionals increasing demands on compute power.

We will be announcing some guest artists who'd be doing some design demos and showcasing some of their 3D outputs so attendees can see how people are using their formlabs printers.

The event will be going on all day from noon till 7 PM. We will start tours every hour on the hour with a limited number of spaces so all attendees can get a chance to use the hardware and check out all the formlabs samples. We will have food and drink available all day and will have a pizza lunch from noon to 2 pm.
