Join us this month as our panel of experts discuss the unique challenges of working with nonprofits. We'll explore some of the differences that you might find while working with a nonprofit and gain some valuable insights into the behind the scenes needs of a typical nonprofit.

The panel:

• Scott Kingsley Clark - Scott is the Lead Developer of the Pods Framework, a free plugin for which development is funded by the not-for-profit work of the Pods Foundation. They accept sponsorships from companies and recurring donations from users of the plugin to pay two team members part-time. Scott works full-time as a Senior Product Developer at Modern Tribe and he likes to play music whenever possible.

• Christopher Harris - Born a geek, Christopher Harris coded his first church website in 1997. In 2003 he entered Seminary, concluding his M.Div studies just as social media reached a tipping point when Facebook opened its site to the public. Via his company, Faith Growth (, Christopher and his team help churches move to a digital-first mindset, whether helping to develop a new website, implement smart social media practices, or develop a comprehensive plan to effectively engage and grow church communities online.

• Michael Gillihan - Michael is the Founder of PurposeWP, a web design and development agency focused on creating a positive social impact through web technology. He has worked with WordPress professionally since 2009 helping local nonprofits establish their web identity to partnering with multinational organizations to build global platforms promoting civil society.
