Lesson 01 - Digital Photography Basics

This Workshop is designed to give Attendees a brief overview of the basic information needed to get started in digital photography. The Workshop consists of the following sessions: open discussion on basic terminology associated with beginning digital photography; hands on practice; question and answer time, and review of optional take home assignments.
During this Workshop, Attendees will learn about the differences between cropped and full frame cameras, mirrorless versus standard DSLR cameras, and shooting manual versus automatic modes. Attendees will also discuss and practice taking digital photographs while adjusting ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed values. A PDF curriculum will be provided to each attendee in advance of the workshop, which shall include the agenda, written descriptions of all topics being discussed, a vocabulary section, and a detailed overview of the optional take home assignment to continue practicing items taught during this workshop.
Workshop is limited to twenty (20) attendees, to ensure we can give everyone the proper amount of attention to practice what is taught, discuss and ask questions. Hope to see you there!
