Flex your layout skills with Flexbox

We stopped using tables for layout on the web, and using floats has resulted in all kinds of hacks to make things work the way we expect. Flexbox is a new CSS layout mechanism that lets us arrange elements in a truly web-like way and solves problems that traditional float grids don’t do well. Browser support is (http://caniuse.com/#search=flexbox) excellent so it’s a great time to jump into flexbox if you haven’t done so yet.
We’ll be tossing out floats and flexin’ with Flexbox at our next meetup! The first talk will be about what Flexbox is and how it can be used in your projects. The second talk will be an intro into the Foundation Flex grid. You’ll come out of this feeling confident to start using Flexbox in your next project!
