Develop Communications & Leadership Skills
If you enjoy surrounding yourself with fun and encouraging people, and challenging yourself to grow as a communicator/leader, then this club is for you. Four Seasons Toastmasters Club (http://fourseasons.toastmastersclubs.org) will give you the skills and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in any situation. Whether you are a professional, student, stay-at-home parent, or retiree, Toastmasters is the most effective, enjoyable and affordable way of gaining great communication and leadership skills. By learning to think quickly on your feet and to express your ideas with confidence, you'll gain the respect of your peers and become more persuasive in everyday conversations. Our members' skill levels range from still learning the English language to award winning speakers. To learn more, and to meet our members, visit one of our regular meetings, held from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. Guests are ALWAYS welcome to attend and participate at no cost. There is no obligation to speak--we wait until YOU'RE ready. So, what happens at a Toastmasters meeting? Some members give prepared speeches and then members and guests give impromptu speeches on selected topics. Constructive evaluation of the speeches and meeting management follows, for continual improvement. It's more fun than it sounds, and really helps improve skills! If you would like to preview the flow of a typical Toastmasters meeting, watch this short video of a simulated meeting. It will help you better understand what we do and how it could benefit you. (One key difference: at Four Seasons Toastmasters, we do not vote on best speaker at our regular meetings.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WStG9TnG0Gw

Whether your goal is to overcome a fear of public speaking, take your presentation skills from good to great, or strengthen your leadership skills through leadership programs and networking, Toastmasters is the place to be.

Stop in and visit a Four Seasons Toastmasters Club (http://Fourseasons.toastmastersclubs.org) meeting, free of cost, and see how Toastmasters can help you.

Four Seasons Toastmasters is the perfect place to improve your communication skills, develop the leadership skills you desire, and increase your ability to influence others through confident public speaking.

Priding ourselves on diversity, we welcome adults of all walks of life, all ages, and from all neighboring communities.

At Toastmasters, new members learn the art of public speaking by completing the Competent Communicator Manual. This manual is included as part of your membership and provides you with your first ten speech assignments, all carefully structured to ensure your success. Each speech features basic speaking skills such as how to organize a speech, how to use props or visual aids, how to use voice inflections, and how to persuade or inspire your audience.

Advanced members who have completed their first manual have many choices from the Advanced Series of manuals. One example is the Interpersonal Communications series which teaches you how to be a good negotiator, diffuse difficult situations, sell products, and make cold calls.

Table Topics is a fun segment of every meeting that helps participants build skills for thinking on their feet. These are impromptu opportunities to speak for 1-2 minutes on a given subject.

Besides mastering the art of public speaking, we also have plenty of time to chit-chat, network, and develop great friendships.

Come and join us sometime, so you can experience our friendly environment and see if Four Seasons Toastmasters Club is right for you.
