Sewing / Cosplay/ Textiles Community Kickoff Party

Fox.Build is starting a sewing / costuming / quilting / textiles enthusiast group. Fox.Build is a Makerspace located at 11 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. We're planning on offering space for communities, classes and social opportunities based around textiles.

Christina Dahl is our resident sewing professional. She is a creative and passionate sewer who loves sharing her knowledge with others. She has been sewing for close to 40 years, and teaching for more than 20 years. Working with both adults and children as young as 6. Areas of sewing she has worked with include embroidery, clothing, quilting, costume making, crafts and home décor. When she's not teaching or sewing, she enjoys reading and spending time with family.

To kick off our sewing / costuming / quilting / textile enthusiasts community, Fox.Build is planning a social event to allow like minded people to meet each other and tour the space. Our party is on January 19th (Saturday) at 4:30PM to 6:30PM. We'll have light snacks and drinks available. We encourage you to bring your friends and take advantage of the vibrant St Charles nightlife scene afterward.
