In many parts of the world, wine is considered a food product and a regular part of the dining experience. Take your dining enjoyment to a whole new level by learning about the magic of wine and food pairing. Join wine educator Missa Capozzo (CSW, WSET3, FWS) for a Wine Wednesday Webinar where you will learn the basics of wine and food pairing, including interactive demonstrations in which you can participate and experience the magic for yourself.
This Wine Wednesday Webinar is perfect for the wine novice, enthusiast, or anyone who would like to review the basics of wine and food pairing.
If you would like to sip and pair along, please have the following available for the webinar (see below for wine suggestions):
Food pairings:
- lemon slice or wedge, one grape (any color), one small tomato (cherry or grape)
- one skittle or jelly bean
- dark chocolate/fruit item (Brookside chocolate covered fruits, raspberry minlano cookie, etc.)
- one chocolate mint item (Andes, mint milano cookie, grasshopper cookie, etc.)
- BBQ potato or kettle chips
- salt

You may also do a ‘dry’ tasting and participate without the wines or can use wines you already have on hand.
About Missa
Missa Capozzo, CSW, WSET3, FWS
Missa is the EVP of Product Development and Sommelier at Worcester’s urban winery, Sail to Trail WineWorks. Throughout her career, she has taught students of all levels of experience and interest in classes, wine dinners, and lifestyle experiences. She is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) with the Society of Wine Educators, a certified French Wine Scholar (FWS), certified with the Wine and Spirits Trust, Level 3 Advanced (WSET), an educator with Boston Wine School (BWSEd), and currently an Italian Wine Scholar (IWS) candidate. Her unique combination of talent allows her to translate the nuances of wine for the everyday wine drinker in an accessible and fun way. Demystifying wine and removing the intimidation is her passion when sharing wine with others.
