Tonight's Presentation Summary:
The Internet of Things (IoT) is fundamentally changing how we interact with the digital world. In this talk, we’ll explore the implementation of live examples which bridge the gap between the physical and digital world using code: asking Alexa for information on conference sessions; displaying API data on an Arduino-powered display; using code to control LEDs on a Raspberry Pi to monitor application uptime; and connecting IR sensors to Slack to see whether a conference room is in use.
• 6:30pm - Pizza will be served thanks to One for All Events! Hang out and chat!

As always we are hosted by the amazing Cowork Frederick. Frederick's premiere coworking facility at 122 East Patrick Street. There is plenty of free on-street parking in the evenings near here, as well as a parking garage one block away. When you get to the location, go up the steps and enter on the first floor, and then go straight to the large room in the rear.
