Frederick Social, "a new kind of cafe" has opened its doors to the Frederick Chess Club for casual play on Wednesday evenings from 5:00 P.M. until close at 10:00 P.M. starting on 02/09/2022!!! Frederick Social is located at 50 Citizens Way, Frederick, MD 21701. *Parking is available at the Court Street Garage located at 2 South Court Street, accessible from South Court Street and Citizens Way.
After almost 2 years without a reliable venue to meet and play chess in a casual environment, this is a win for Chess in Frederick! Let's make this a win for Frederick Social!
Frederick Social is one of the coolest new places in Frederick run by two innovative business owners who have a genuine passion for good food, good drink, and facilitating meaningful social interaction within our community. The best way to show our appreciation is by being good patrons while we enjoy their hospitality. After all, this is a place of business.
