AT Hike Series in Maryland; Washington Monument State Park to Gathland SP

North to South hike on that Appalachian Trail, from Washington Monument State Park to Crampton Gap; approximate distance of 13½ km (9 miles). Meet at the endpoint of the hike at the parking area at Gathland State Park (900 Arnoldstown Road, Jefferson, MD) at 10 am. From the endpoint at Gathland State Park, we will shuttle hikers in the minimum number of vehicles necessary to the starting point at Washington Monument State Park.
