What we're about
In this talk, we will introduce you to a completely new insight into sex and its function within a relationship, which forms the basis of the 7 day Making Love Retreat™ for couples we are running this Autumn from
3rd-10th October. Most of the unhappiness experienced in love has its source in dissatisfaction with sex. When the real truth about sex is clarified, sex becomes a potentially healing force and not a disruptive one. The key lies in a new perception of the genitals, how they interact and how male and female energy is exchanged. It requires a rediscovery of our ecstatic bodily sensations, which exist in any moment we are truly present. Simply by introducing awareness, relaxing into being and feeling, a style of sexual rapport emerges which creates love and harmony between man and woman. It is our mind, our basic psychology that stands in the way of us naturally accessing the wisdom of our bodies. A level of innocence and presence is required for sexual energy and love to flow spontaneously. The sexual imprints that influence us on an unconscious level as we grow up become a form of 'sexual conditioning'. Any shift needs to be accompanied by a fundamental change in the psyche and the way we view sex.
Changing the way you make love transforms and empowers you as an individual, impacting on many levels - not just your sex life. There is an increase in self-love, self-respect, self-confidence and happiness. Couples report experiencing more peace and harmony in their relationship, feeling more 'in love', and more present. They experience greater co-operation and understanding, less emotionality and arguing, and the fighting patterns that so often dominate and destroy love relationships fall away. A door is opened that expands the vision, creates options and gives choices. The Making Love work, created by Diana Richardson, who has run workshops with her husband Michael for over 20 years, has profoundly deepened our experience of making love. We are authorised teachers of this work.
