Improving Our Memory + Overall Brain Functions

  • For the month of December, we explore how to better train our focus through Physical & Emotional Mindfulness Pavlovian Cues. 

    We improve our memory and overall brain functions with Mindfulness Meditation, and learn how to maintain focused meditative states. There are numerous neuroscientific studies indicating that Mindfulness Meditation improves our overall cognitive functions. But, learning how to train our focus is key (brief article). 

    We offer these free events from our sacred hearts to yours. We are, of course, open to any LOVE donations. The more you give-are charitable in life, the more you get!

    Every month we use slightly different mindfulness meditative methods and tools to help us to go deeper into a meditative state. The methods and tools always correspond to the theme for the month and the vibe of the group for that evening. These may and often include:

    • Always have 2-3 Guided Mindfulness Meditations;

    • Cobra Pranayama Breathing, a kundalini breathing with complimenting facial acupressure points;

    • Different Mudras, hand postures, and sometimes mixed with acupressure points;

    • Different kundalini breathing exercises;

    • Program our olfactory system and neurons towards a meditative state with a Meditation Oil. This month it will be, “Clarity & Focus."

    • We sometimes use laughter yoga, toning, coloring, journaling, sound, etc...

    We highly encourage you to bring a journal, so you may become aware of what method and tool worked for you. Different methods and tools may work for you, under different circumstances It is helpful however to become aware of what is helpful for particular circumstances and moods.


    Erika Buenaflor has been teaching Meditative and Breathwork Training for over 10 years. After using holistic healing methods to fully recover from a catastrophic injury, where she was told that she would likely not walk again and be in pain the rest of her life, she became dedicated to teaching about the amazing gifts of alternative healing methods. She eventually left her career as an attorney, and as a modern-day curandera blends her experience and training in various meditative methods, breathwork training, healing modalities and traditions to inspire and motivate people to live their truth, and realize their BLISS!  Find out more at 

    Miguel Buenaflor is a spiritual musician and through music heals and awakens.
