This group is for people looking to be 'Free2bme' by enjoying life and respecting others. Through Social Events, Meetings, Adventures, Short Breaks, Workshops and More. Embracing ourselves as individuals and have the opportunity to develop ourselves, our wellbeing and confidence by enjoying life and do the things we like to do. Make and build friendships and sharing good, fun, interesting times while connecting with people of like mindedness along the way.
Members Terms and Considerations
Members Identity is required to display a recent recognizable photo and providing both Christian and Surnames. This is to help identify and know who our members are to connect and build friendships easier. This also helps to manage any payments for events members are taking part in. So please display christian name and surname along with a recent recognisable photo.
Where events involve payment to avoid waiting lists and un-necessary extra work; we ask for payment to secure your place with your RSVP or within 24 hours of your rsvp. If payment is not received within 24 hours you may find your RSVP has changed to 'NOT GOING' This being the case, please re-add yourself to going or waiting list once you are able to confirm with payment your intention to attend.
Organisers will take payment for the events they are hosting and will make the bank details for the payment very clear on the event page which will show directly after the details of the event. (Sometimes you may need to scroll down to see them). Once payment is made please put a comment on the associated event page confirming you have paid and provide the last three digits of your account number.
Due to the fact some events involve money for commitment or required by the venue. It is the members responsibility to manage their own decisions regarding their own RSVPs and finances. We do not offer refunds on any of our events, under any circumstances, unless the event is cancelled either by ourselves or by the venue and will only be offered to those on the RSVP list for going at the time the event is cancelled.
Please note should you be eligible for a refund (see above) bank details will be required to the organiser within two days of the event being cancelled.
Our valued organisers have enough of a task to arrange, set up, organise and manage the event itself including managing payments and other admin task involved. Hence why ‘No Refunds” and “Payments required with RSVP or within 24 hours’ to keep the responsibility and work load including their own time to a minimum out of respect for the organisers and other members to keep things running smoothly.
Some events offer the opportunity to give £1 voluntary donation with payment or at the event. It is voluntary to assist with the succesful for running this Meetup group.
