What we're about

This is a group for the freelancers, hustlers, and self-employed go-getters. The gig workers and those looking to escape the grind. Those who want to build community, build their brand, or boost their client base. Those who want to create a better future for themselves and their community. Those looking to learn and grow and never go to another stuffy networking event again. Expect fun, engaging, and educational events to help you navigate the sometimes lonesome and confusing world of being your own boss.

Introducing the Rocky Mountain Mutual Aid Network

Online event

Get involved! Join us to learn more about what the Rocky Mountain Mutual Aid Network (RMMAN) is doing to address the need in our communities during the coronavirus crisis and how you can plug in! We encourage you to attend this meeting even if you’ve already been engaged with RMMAN or the Front Range Mutual Aid Network in some capacity. We’ll start by talking about who we are, why we formed, and how we can make a real impact for working families by providing “solidarity, not charity” during this recession. We’ll then discuss how our volunteer coordination and food box delivery efforts are providing direct aid to our communities, and how our neighborhood organizing group is fostering real, ongoing relationships within small groups providing mutual aid. During this discussion, we’ll go over ways to get involved with us, whether you’re looking for a less time-intensive commitment or deeper engagement. We hope to see you there! If you can’t make it, we’ll be holding one more session: Sunday, 10/25 from 1-3 pm. Better Together is supporting the Mutual Aid Network because freelancers help their neighbors!
