The Meetup

The theme of the next meetup is something that I have been trying to get right for years and am still working on and changing to this day.

Positioning is about how you frame your business in your client's mind. It's easy to describe but getting it right can take years.

Aaron will give an longish intro and if we don't find anyone else to give a short talk, we can do a quick workshop where we try to come up with a good positioning statement for our freelance / consulting business.

Last Meetup - Get Clients Now

I said that I would start Get Clients Now last month, share it in the slack chat and we would talk about it this month. Sad news is that I had too much work in the last two months and didn't get around to starting the program. I am feeling too comfortable and need to make sure I start so I will actually start the program at this upcoming meetup. That means that the May meetup will be Finding Clients themed with the results of my 2 long months of doing the program.
