PLEASE READ the following to learn about us, and what we do in our events.
You can learn French by yourself; you can study the grammar every day; reading will expand your vocabulary; with the help of television and radio you’ll improve your comprehension; but there is one thing -- the most important one that brings all your effort and endeavor to fruition -- that you cannot do by yourself: you cannot practice speaking French with/to yourself.
French Conversation Club offers you that rare and precious commodity.
Our members are advanced, intermediate, and beginner speakers. Meanwhile, we do not forget that learning a language is an ongoing process; whether we are beginners or have several degrees. With short tutorial presentations/games at each event, our events are more like an opportunity to learn and not simply a platform to socialize in French. We encourage you to bring a notebook and a French-English dictionary to the events. Why not learning something new each time you attend an event?
** A few words about myself: I hold a master’s degree in French literature, have taught at college level, and currently teach in private sessions (one-on-one or small groups), plus fourteen years of experience hosting and organizing French conversation meetups.
Native, advanced, intermediate, and especially beginner levels/speakers are welcome.
The annual membership fee for this year, 2020, is ($20) and is due when you attend your first event.
Merci et à bientôt,
