Completing Your First Cryptocurrency Transaction

Last month we set up hardware wallets. This month we'll walk through the steps of sending your first cryptocurrency transaction. Many people start their crypto journey at CoinBase.com but maybe it's time to transfer your Bitcoin to a hardware wallet? Or maybe to an exchange to trade for some altcoins? We'll walk through the steps and show some tips to make sure you don't have any malicious software trying to hijack your transaction.

Create an account at Poloniex, Bittrex, Coinbase and/or any exchange you'd like to use before the meeting. They all require some type of verification process so you'll want to go through all of that before sending/receiving a transaction with each exchange.

We'll also discuss the latest crypto news. Bring your questions and/or recent crypto experiences to share with the group.

If you still need help setting up a hardware wallet (Trezor, Ledger, etc), bring YOUR laptop and the hardware wallet and we'll walk you through the process.
