Hacking Diabetes with Python

Derek Payton will be talking about hacking the FreeStyle Libre, a glucose monitoring device for Type 1 Diabetics. The FreeStyle Libre is a proprietary, closed source system, and we'll be using some Open Source tools to get the raw data off of it and a bit of Python to analyze the data.

We'll also probably talk a bit bout the OpenAPS project, which aims to hack older insulin pumps with modern microcontrollers (i.e., the Raspberry Pi) to create an artificial pancreas system for Type 1 Diabetics.
