Kick-off meeting

This is the first meeting of the group. We'll discuss the things we want to do once we get together. I'm hoping we can talk about our needs (and darkest writing desires) and figure out a formula that can help us:

a) write
b) get better
c) socialize

I've done similar things in the past so you're in good hands.

The meeting will take place in the fresh air behind this lovely old church in the middle of Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz. There's plenty of space there to sit apart from each other at safe distance.

I'm responsible for your safety, so I need to ask you to follow this one rule:

Wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose.

I do realize that the corona can make socializing awkward, but there's little we can do about that. Once we get to know each other, we will have a chance to sit farther apart, take off our masks, enjoy beer, and see how our smiles look like, but the meetup needs to start in masks.

The kick-off meeting is mostly social, and to figure out the formula for the group, so you don't need your laptop, but in the future, we will be doing that what all writers dread: actually writing.
