The Art of Giving (or Flag the last full mile of Powwow Trail)

Details
Announcement change: This is now an active posting (up from interest sheet).
Be a part of a select crew that will flag the last mile of the Powwow Trail for fall clearing. The one mile segment from Superstition to south of the Mirror Lake has been flagged but jack pines have done their best to obscure the marking. We need you, the unstoppable human dynamo, the determined volunteer, to go into the wild and do what needs to be done. We will work with GPS track of the trail from the US Forest Service and a five dollar roll of blue flagging tape - to accomplish the impossible, to save the Powwow Trail West Loop. If you aspire to be the right candidate, sign up on the interest sheet for August trip. We will contact you in early July for crew meet, hike and trip interview.
About the trip: We will carpool from the north burbs and paddle in via Little Isabella River to Quadga Lake and then backpack to Superstition Lake. Campsite amenities are nil. In the following next two days you and your team will survey and mark the one mile of trail - and that will make it so much easier for fall crews to follow and clear. On Monday, we will return via Little Isabella River.
Registration cost is $25 and covers map, BWCAW exempt permit and canoes (when provided by the USFS). Bring your own food. Carpool expenses will be shared by the participants.
Interested? Contact the organizer for pre-trip interview and approval before you register.
Give your time to enrich other backpackers’ lives and you will be giving a gift to the Boundary Waters that money can’t buy.
