Overnight Camping for the October 30 Powwow Trail Celebration

Are you planning to attend the Powwow Trailhead celebration on Saturday, October 30? Extend your visit by camping with BWAC volunteers near the trailhead on Saturday night.
Reservations are not needed however if you are planning to dispersed camp with BWAC please RSVP here.
The dispersed camping area is at the end of the Tomahawk Road - about 0.2 mile from the Powwow Trail/Isabella Lake parking lot. To reach the dispersed camping site, continue driving past the Powwow Trail/Isabella Lake USFS sign until you reach the end of the road (signage photo below).
There is a latrine back at the trailhead 0.2 miles, but no running water. Bring your own water, food and camping gear for the duration of your stay.
Camping is not allowed at the trailhead parking lot or along the portage to Isabella Lake.
Dispersed camping in the Superior National Forest (outside the BWCAW) is allowed with no permit or fee.
