Spring Day Trip #9 Orientation/Hike @ Battle Creek Regional Park

Priority registration for this session is reserved for the BWAC Spring Trip #9 crew members.

We welcome others that are interested in a future BWAC trail clearing trip. Bring your questions and come learn about the BWAC trail clearing trip options- condo day, backpacking or canoeing.

Trip #9 (May 17/18)
Crew members are required to attend this orientation and the virtual crew orientation session on Tuesday, April 5th (see separate Meetup event).

Location
Battle Creek Regional Park Water Park parking lot
Meet your crew leaders at the picnic tables in back of the park building with restrooms.
The first hour will cover important safety, tools, trail standards and wilderness information, and gear and crew expectations. We will discuss trip logistics including car pooling and crew dinners. The second hour we will hike the park trails.

WHAT TO BRING

• Your day pack, hiking boots and all gear you intend to bring
• Your completed BWAC Health & Medical Form and the BWAC Liability Release Form
