Start the New Year Right- Trash Pick Up

Thanks to your efforts we cleared over 2000 pounds of unsightly trash from Gold Butte Road and the monument itself in 2019! Let's keep up the good work in 2020! Join us at the junction of Gold Butte Road and Highway 170 at 9:00 am. We'll pick up debris and garbage for a couple of hours and then meet for lunch. Friends of Gold Butte will supply buckets, trash bags, gloves and a snack. Be sure and dress appropriately for the weather, and wear something you don't mind getting dirty. We will be parking along the road, so 4-wheel drive is not required.

• What to bring
Bring plenty of water and a lunch for yourself, and remember to wear sunscreen, closed toe shoes and a hat.
