This group is for anyone interested in learning more about all of the fun happenings going on in and around the Tecolote Canyon Natural Park and Nature Center! This includes walkers, hikers, bikers, bird lovers, those interested in botony, nature lovers, pretty much anyone who would like to get out and explore Tecolote Canyon and it's Nature Center. Join us in celebrating all of the fun and interesting things happening in this unique and wonderful urban canyon! :)

NATIVE PLANT WATERING DAY!!
Habitat restoration efforts require regular watering.
We will be hosting a volunteer restoration event focusing
on removing invasive weeds and watering newly
planted native plants!Happy Fall Y’all! Our next volunteer opportunity is Saturday, October 7th from 9:00-11:00. Please rsvp to this email or Park Ranger Austin at alane@sandiego.gov
Volunteers should wear long pants, sturdy shoes (no sandals), and sun protection. Bring drinking water, and gloves if you prefer your own. We provide tools, gloves, and snacks.
Park at the corner of Gardena and Cross Street, cross the plank and follow the signs, or park at the nature center and follow the signs to the restoration site.
