What we're about

Hi there! Friends of Ximula Sail is a community of friendly people who love to sail and meet other like-minded adventure lovers. We organize a sunset cruise every week for this community to relax and chill out together over a scenic cruise around Singapore's Southern Islands on board Ximula's sailing catamarans.

This community is hosted by the team behind Ximula Sail, a yacht charter business focused on delivering exceptional and memorable yacht experiences. Our day job is running yacht charters for various occasions including birthday parties, engagement proposals, team bonding sessions.

Our vision is bringing our extended family of clients-turned-friends, guests, sailors together through these sunset cruises, sailing training, certifications and expeditions in South East Asia.

Beginning 2021, Calvin Bow will be helping out in organising these trips and at the same time, bring people who are interested to learn sailing to join an appreciation/training trip weekly to learn from a veteran sailor since 1970s.

After a few sessions of hands-on weekend sailing, you can sign up a five-day Inshore Skipper Course and be awarded a Inshore Skipper license (up to 75 feet or 24 meter) by the International Sailing School Association (ISSA, London).

Should you like to know more about the training, please feel free to contact Calvin at +65 92794400. Cheers!

Licensed: Inshore Skipper - International Sailing School Association (ISSA)

Hi sailors, come join me for the International Sailing School Association ISSA (since 1969) for a 5-day Inshore Skipper Certification. Prefer you have a PPCDL. Else, you will need it later when driving a motorised yacht in and out of the marina. SailCycle Morning Cruise

Location visible to members

In an epic 3-month collaboration with Mobot Singapore, Friends of Ximula Sail can now explore the Southern Islands’ waters by yacht, but also on land by bike!

Despite sailing to the Southern Islands more than a thousand times on our yachts, we have yet to fully absorb the beauty of these islands on land. Now, with the convenience of the super lightweight and portable foldable bicycles from Mobot Singapore, we are very excited to enable our guests to rediscover these islands.

In line with our vision to inspire a happy sailor in everyone, we hope this reignites the adventurer and explorer among our Friends of Ximula Sail community during this COVID period.

CRUISE ITINERARY

We set sail from ONE 15 Marina, Sentosa on our beautiful catamarans Ximula & Gracefully and take a relaxing morning cruise around the Southern Islands (1 hour).
We then dock at Lazarus Island, where guests can disembark. Guests will take turns in groups of 5 pax to explore Lazarus Island & St. John’s Island (interconnected via a bridge) using the Mobot foldable bicycles, or to swim and play with our water toys (kayaks, paddle boards and a giant floating mat). (2 hours)
We will then end with a cruise towards the Marina Bay area for a stunning view of our iconic city skyline before returning to the marina. (1 hour)
THINGS TO NOTE:

All ages are welcome, but do note bicycles are catered for adults.
Soft drinks and bottled water will be provided, but please bring along your own food!
Feel free to call [masked] to know more.
