Friendships can have a major impact on your health and well-being. Friendships enrich your life and improve your health.” - Mayo Clinic
At our age, (60 and up) many of our friends have moved onto warmer climates, leaving us behind, and it's time for us to also move on. So let's get together and make some new friendships. This will be a casual group that meets for coffee weekly. We can also do other things like dining out, pot luck, game days, antiquing, flea markets, movies, book discussions, or just spending time sharing and supporting each other. This should be a fun way to get to know some new people.
To help you determine if this group is right for you, 99% of the Meetups will be held during the day in Deer Park, Illinois. Deer Park is near Barrington, Lake Zurich, Long Grove, and Palatine. We are serious about making new friends and getting together face to face. Who knows? Maybe its not too late to make “new old friends”!
Since there is nothing so well worth having as friends, never lose a chance to make them.
