What we’re about
Let's change the name of our group to what is has become: people coming together in fellowship and friendship and having fun. Formally a singles group that wanted to specialize in sailing, we found something a lot more special. We have a common affinity for non-drama and an easy-going demeanor.
We strive to provide an atmosphere of friendly fellowship. This group is for everyone: singles, marrieds, couples.
We appreciate your input on planning activities of interest.
This group was once the original singles' sailing Meetup Group in the DFW Metroplex, founded in 2009. It's an independent nonprofit organization, organized under the auspices of Meetup.com. Our name was created in 1988 by the Wendell Chen consortium.
