Want a BVI Sailing Adventure over Thanksgiving Week?
Want a BVI Sailing Adventure over Thanksgiving Week? We are sailing in the beautiful British Virgin Islands from November 17 to November 25. We have an open cabin available aboard a brand new 2019 Lagoon 450F Sailing Catamaran. No sailing experience required. The boat has 4 cabins and we are taking a total of 8 people. Each cabin has a queen bed and private bathroom with shower. The boat has air conditioning, refrigerator, water maker and a well-equipped galley (kitchen). See Photos https://www.cata-lagoon.com/en/450-f We will sail 3-4 hours and anchor at a different island each day. There is time for swimming, snorkeling, sunning, relaxing, and exploring the islands. Scuba diving can be arranged at some of the most famous wreck dives. We stock the boat with food and beverage for breakfast and lunch for the week. We eat ashore each night at some of the world’s most famous beach bars and restaurants. (Most take credit cards) Lobster will be in season and available most places. Here is a typical 7 day itinerary. http://www.catamarans.com/british-virgin-islands-sail-Itinerary/ The cost of this Bucket List Trip: $2750 for boat cabin for 2 ($1375pp) $150pp for boat provisions for the week (est) $300pp for dinners ashore for week (est) (Lobster cost more $50-60 for 2 lbs.) $60pp RT Ferry from St Thomas to Tortola Airfare (mine $565 DFW to STT) Activities, souvenirs, rum, and fun (your budgets delight) That about covers it! What we're about

Let's change the name of our group to what is has become: people coming together in fellowship and friendship and having fun. Formally a singles group that wanted to specialize in sailing, we found something a lot more special. We have a common affinity for non-drama and an easy-going demeanor.

We strive to provide an atmosphere of friendly fellowship. This group is for everyone: singles, marrieds, couples.

We appreciate your input on planning activities of interest.

This group was once the original singles' sailing Meetup Group in the DFW Metroplex, founded in 2009. It's an independent nonprofit organization, organized under the auspices of Meetup.com. Our name was created in 1988 by the Wendell Chen consortium.
