On-water events, and riverside work projects --- Join with other lovers of this beautiful river. We will post paddling events as well as riparian restoration, water quality monitoring, storm water runoff protection, and other projects where volunteers can help us enjoy and protect the watershed. Keep checking back, or set your notifications to learn about event postings.
The date is set for the 2019 River of Light --- 7/18/19. The photo posted is blurry, but you get the idea. We had dozens of beautiful boats, and an amazing moonrise. You can see more on our FB page: https://www.facebook.com/friendsofthewinooskiriver/ (If you were at this year's event and have photos, please post them on our FB page. Thanks!)
So, mark your calendar now to save that evening. (Rain date: following day) Also, if you are interested in volunteering for planning next year, please Message me. Planning team does get to paddle, just a few tasks need to be done in advance to make it a success.
Remember - 7/18/19! See you there.
