How to run an effective design sprint

Details

A design sprint is a framework that helps teams (designers, developers PM’s, and stakeholders) align on a problem, generate many ideas, and test those ideas in a very quick period of time (usually 3-5 days).

The process can turn the normally individualistic working style into a collaborative team effort by making the design process much more inclusive.

In this workshop we will cover:

Part 1

  • How to identify the right problem to solve with a sprint.
  • How to sell it to the organization and team.
  • What to do before the sprint starts. (Team alignment and scheduling)
  • Tips for facilitating.
  • Rapid design and prototyping tips.
  • What to do post-sprint to keep the momentum going throughout development.

Part 2

The second part will be helping you identify your own project that would fit for a design sprint.
