Creating a personal site using Gatsby and Netlify with Dan Denney

Details

The goal for this meetup is for you to be able to have a personal site up and running within a few minutes that is built with Gatsby and hosted for free with Netlify. We'll talk through the benefits of using Gatsby including why React is good, but static HTML + React is better. The format will be part presentation and part demo as we step through how unbelievably easy it is to use Netlify hosting and add a headless CMS.

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with either of these tools, I'm just excited to use them.

I'm Dan Denney, a front-end engineer at DataCamp. As much as I can, I try to share my stumblings through building websites, online and at various in-person events.
