Hi all,

I hope you have all been enjoying the recent events we have had on. We have a number more in planning so watch this space.

Some of you may recently have read that we at RecWorks are going to having a real push into the contract space over the coming months. I have caught up with some of you over the last few days but I know there are still lots of current (and aspiring) contractors in this group, so I have two things I’d like to say:

1) We have an active contract at the moment. It’s a short term contract (one month) in Central London which we’re looking for someone with essential skills: JavaScript, Node.js, React, SQL. Ideal skills: GraphQL, Meteor, MongoDB - If anyone is interested please let me know.

2) We are relaunching a separate group specific for contractors called the RecWorks Contractor Network. You can come and meet with other contractors (online or in person), either listen to or speak to others about where they think the market is going. We will be organising events (online Q+A events and in person events) and offer help and support where we can. If you’re interested please sign up here: https://bcrw.typeform.com/to/fYs53a

Thanks all - have a great weekend!

Thank you,
Barry
