She has a Bachelor’s in Informatics Engineering from the University of Coimbra and graduated with a Master’s in Informatics with specialization in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing from the University of Edinburgh. Her primary research interests are mainly focused on topics in Natural Language Processing, including Natural Language Understanding and Generation. Teresa also likes to work in areas in the field of Information Retrieval, including contextual and personalized Information Retrieval. In her free time, Teresa plays basketball in Cantanhede and also likes to play the guitar.
