*SAVED BY THE BAR CRAWL!!!!*

Hey Hey Hey, WHAT is going on here? I'll tell you what: It's the inaugural "Saved By The Bar Crawl" coming to Wicker Park on Saturday, October 13th!!! Come out to support a great cause, and have a radical time with well over 100 of your closest preppy friends in the process.

This bar crawl will be more fun than staring in a commercial with Johnny Dakota AND spending the summer working at Malibu Sands...combined! So get out your huge cell phone and your hall pass for the best ditch day ever! (plus, you get a FREE t-shirt)

The Saved By The Bar Crawl will start at 11am and end at whatever time you head over to The Max for a post-crawl burger. Just make sure you are home before curfew, as you don't want to get grounded and miss the next Zack Attack concert.

The bar schedule is as follows:

Emporium Arcade Bar (http://emporiumchicago.com/): 11:00am -1pm (registration and check in)

Standard Bar & Grill (http://www.standardbarandgrill.com/): 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Moonshine (http://www.moonshinechicago.com/): 2:30pm - 4:00pm

The Boundary (http://www.boundarychicago.com/): 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Fatpour Tap Works (http://www.fatpourchicago.com/): 5:30pm - whenever!

Each participating bar will be offering special drink deals to all participants with a wristband (you must show up to Emporium before 12:30pm to receive said wristband).

Not only will The Crawl be a totally awesome time, but your participation will also help out a great cause! If Mr. B taught us anything, it's that helping others is a good thing. So, a portion of your ticket will be donated to the Chicago Program of Special Olympics Illinois. In case you are not familiar with this organization, here is a quick synopses: Almost 5,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities participate in Special Olympics Chicago throughout the year. With support from volunteers, athletes compete in 18 sports at locations throughout the city. For information call 773.278.2178.

If you want to avoid detention, you better register ahead of time (showing up the day of is not encouraged as we will be sold out). To sign up, you have two options: early bird price, or the regular price. According to Mr. Dewey, it's actually cheaper to sign up early for the discounted price! I'd take his advise, and sign up immediately...
