A short drive about 2 hours to Washington, USA, Camano Island.
You must have a valid travel document.

I will be driving from Abbotsford directly to Bellingham and we all meet at a Starbucks near Lowe's in Bellingham 8:30 am. 1185 E Sunset Dr. Bellingham. Will wait for 10 minutes. We consolidate carpool and drive together to the final destination. The driving directions to the final meeting place will be provided when we meet in Bellingham.

Things to do: long walk, trails, along the shore, have lunch at the cafe, etc.

"Cama Beach Historical State Park is set in a spectacular forested 472-acre waterfront location with sweeping views of Saratoga Passage, Whidbey Island and the Olympic Mountains. It is connected by a mile-long trail to Camano Island State Park, a forested 134-acre waterfront property with camping and cabin rentals. Both parks are open for day use and overnight stays year round.

Visitors to Cama Beach Historical State Park may explore the expansive mile-long shoreline, view wildlife, or hike and bike the area’s 15 miles of trails. Boating enthusiasts can rent a kayak, canoe, row boat or small
motor boat from the Center for Wooden Boats, just one of the many partners of Cama Beach area parks. Onsite interpretive specialists and
naturalists offer an array of activities for all ages, including forest and beach walks, crafts and campfire programs. where visitors can take a step back in time and learn about historic cultures, wooden boat building, nature and green ecology."

We will leave early to spend a day exploring the area, a long walk.
