What we're about

Do you love adventure, nature, and fitness?

Would you like to deepen your mind body connection while finding balance, strength, and flexibility throughout?

This is a group for anyone who loves to move their body in nature, while traveling on imaginary journeys through fun yoga poses.

As a world traveler, art teacher, writer, and yoga instructor, my teachings are all about making connections with the ordinary and extraordinary in life. Each week we have a different fun theme that you can learn about on my award winning blog: www.HalfMoonYogaandArt.com/blog

I'm looking forward to sharing this adventure with YOU!

Sunset Yoga at Mission Bay Park

2688 E Mission Bay Dr

Would you love to catch the sunset reflect off of the water, while stretching, strengthening and balancing your body?

Join me and other like-minded yogis for physical yoga practice to rejuvenate and energize your body, creating strength and flexibility for a balanced you!

For social distancing purposes, we will space the mats six feet apart and I will be teaching from my mat, instead of walking around.

We will begin with a discussion about the weekly theme. Then a meditation to calm your mind and focus your breath. After flowing through Sun Salutations, a variety of adventure poses (balancing, arm strength, twists, folds, heart openers, inversions, etc.) with stories or facts that fit with this week's theme and hands-on adjustments, we will relax in final resting pose.

These themed donation classes are open to all levels and ages. There is a suggested $10 donation, but please give what you feel is appropriate for your financial status at this time in your life. Please consider your instructors time and energy invested into creating fun and interesting yoga classes for you.

Park in the parking lot for the Mission Beach Club (off of Clairmont Dr. and I-5), or along the street. The address is just for driving and parking purposes. It will lead you to the old round building (in construction). From there, please head west to the grassy area at the waterline. We will be set up somewhere between the Runner's Bathroom and children' playground.
