CHRISTMAS DAY BY THE BAY -lunch, swimming, kayaking and Christmas! multimeetup

Please read carefully:

1. Organisers will NOT be checking meetup for queries so don’t post any questions.
2. Bring a rug or chair, a dish of food to share to share, your $5, your bathers, games, your drinks, a kayak if you wish and an awesome Christmas smile. It’s a shady spot but with the numbers extra shade will be good. Dogs and kids welcome.
3. Organisers provide soft drinks, water, plates, platters, cups, serviettes and plastic cutlery.
4. To find us, drive down Hackett Drive until you see the only building on the left. This is Bayside Kitchens. Just beyond are two wooden jetties, we will be between them, see LOTS of multicloured balloons strung up, a big meetup sign visible from the road. Main organiser in a yellow dress. If you reach Perth Yacht club you have gone too far. Be creative with your parking no one has got a ticket yet. If totally lost but only if totally lost, call Pip on 0487290832, do not text. I do NOT want dozens of calls.
5. On arrival, please find a friendly organiser, introduce yourself check in and sign the list and pay your $5 and put your food out if it won’t spoil. Arrive when you wish.
6. We STILL need extra trestle tables, Christmas and other mellow music, and several hands to set up. Yes we do commence at 7am to get a good spot. We also need an organiser for after 4pm, most years there’s around 30 left til after sunset.
7. If anyone lives in Northern suburbs and wants to bring my kayak for people to use, please phone the above number.
8. This will be awesome-10 meetups. Lets have fun and take care of each other! PM Pip if you can help with any of the above.

@@Its back! for the 6th year! Multimeetup. Bring your bathers and kayaks! Join the Meetup 'family' and feel welcome on Christmas Day. Matilda Bay has been an awesome venue for the last five years; its got tall shady trees, lovely cool swimming, is sheltered from the usual Christmas Day winds (the 'Freo doctor' - our strong summer wind), beautiful estuary views, swimmable water ( stay between jettys), and we put on a fabulous feast, everybody contributes a dish and we eat til you drop, just like at home!
BYO chairs, extra table if you have one, drinks, plate of food to share, food insect covering, chairs, swimming gear, kayaks, picnic blanket, music, and lots of laughs.
Children and well behaved dawgs welcome. $5 cost.

You are welcome to come for part or all of the day! Invite your friends, share on social media (but still they have to RSVP via Meetup). See you there!!!
