Stategize for the next Lunar New Year Festival at Qualcomm Stadium

Details
On the behalf of Little Saigon San Diego Foundation, we thank you for your support thus far and we look forward to that continued support in the future as we go on to another awesome 2017 Lunar New Year TẾT / 春節嘉年华 Festival at Qualcomm Stadium - Year of the Rooster!
Who are we?
The Little Saigon Foundation of San Diego (LSF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to develop the Little Saigon District of City Heights by revitalizing infrastructure in the community, promoting Vietnamese
culture and tourism in the area, and engaging youth, residents, and businesses in civic responsibilities.
What do we do?
To fulfill this mission, LSF hosts several events each year to promote and celebrate Vietnamese culture, including our flagship event: the Lunar New Year Festival at Qualcomm Stadium!
Celebrated for thousands of years in various countries around the world influenced by Chinese civilization, the Lunar New Year remains Vietnam’s most celebrated holiday. This year we observe the Year of the Monkey, an animal representing intelligence, mischievousness, curiosity, and inventiveness.
Why do we do it?
In the interest of celebrating diversity and spreading cultural awareness, LSF hosts the Lunar New Year Festival each year to give San Diegans a full immersion into Vietnamese culture. The festival also raises critical funds for
future projects and events in the district, some of which include the creation of a Little Saigon Night Market, installation of branded trash bins and banners, as well as an open-air museum that tells the story of the Vietnamese people. When you attend an LSF event, your donation directly benefits the residents of San Diego and helps create a vibrant center of culture, commerce and community engagement in the Little Saigon District.
