BreakNeck Ridge Hiking and Rock Scrambling

It is time for us to now go out of the city and workup our body before summer arrives:) So all you fans of hiking, come out for this day to do some hike and rock scrambling.

We start with rock scrambling and hike all the way up to 1300 ft and then take an easy hike down. The entire hike is up to 5 miles and it will take approximately 5 hours at a slow pace with some conversations, scenic views, picture opportunities etc.

Hike Start Time: 10:00 AM for those who are driving

Location: 430-442 Breakneck Rd Beacon, NY 12508

Transportation: We will meet at Grand Central at 8:15 AM. There is a train that leaves at 8:45 AM and drops at the Breakneck. Please make sure you are not late at the station. If you miss this train, there is no other train.

Return Time: 4 PM

Cost: $0 (The Hike is FREE)

Level: Intermediate to Advance

Driving: If you are driving plan on meeting us there by 10:00 AM. We will only wait until 10:15 AM then we will start the hike.

What to bring/wear:

Plenty of water - 3 liter Recommended Light Snacks Good hiking shoes - no sandals
