Oakland Happy Hour Returns to Alameda

It's an exciting event folks: it's Forbidden Island (http://www.forbiddenislandalameda.com/), on a Friday, and to top it all off, we're gonna ask our friends from the FUN in Alameda (https://www.meetup.com/FunInAlameda/) group to come and join us! The tiki gods couldn't have aligned this fantastic coincidence of events better, if you ask me. :)

As Don the Beachcomber (inventor of the Tiki Bar) said: “If you can't get to paradise, I'll bring it to you.” Come-on, you know you want to forget the frigid weather as of late and escape to a island paradise, even if for only a night. Hula yourself out to Alameda and join us!

For you early birds that want to get a head start, the bar Happy Hour specials (5-7 pm) are the following:

$6 Mai Tais or Navy Grogs
$5 Well Drinks
$4 Bar Snacks
$3 Draft Beers

This location is not BART-able, but for those willing to make the trek, I hope that a Friday event will allow you some time to come out and enjoy yourself
