21.00 Arcade games time!

What are code katas again?

Code katas are a fun way to practise coding, explore new programming languages and paradigms.

We choose a simple problem to work on, then form groups to pair program on a solution for about an hour. Each pair chooses a programming language that they want to work in. At the end, groups show their solutions for fun and (non-)profit. Laughs are had.

For this session, you can choose to use any programming language you want, functional or not.

Prerequisites

• While beginners are welcome, you'll have a much better experience if you have some familiarity with basic programming concepts and know how to code a little bit.

• For this session no previous functional programming experience is required. It's totally OK to solve the puzzle in a non-functional language if you feel like it!

• And of course bring your laptop - this will be a hands-on session.
