In the last half-century, we have seen workspaces evolve from rows of desks to cubicles and from simple workstations to hotdesking and Hoteling (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoteling). In recent years, coworking spaces have redefined and refined our working environs - not to mention the mobility and flexibility of the workforce.
So what is next frontier of workspace exploration? 🏰 ⛺️ 🏭 🏢 🏡 ⁉️
We'll present three speakers at the forefront of workspace innovation who are excited to share their insights with you.

For the last decade, coworking has blossomed. Just take Berlin as an example and you will find more than 150 coworking spaces targeting very diverse crowds. But how has coworking changed since it started and where is it going?
In her talk, Pauline will share her experience of travelling the world of coworking, visiting 225 coworking spaces in 24 different cities to build Coworkies - a global platform connecting professionals across coworking spaces.

Current legacy workspaces were primarily designed to fit requirements from the late 20th century: foster some collaboration and cut rental costs.
Now workplaces can be radically optimised by redefining work and living spaces, and reacting to moment-by-moment changes in employee health and needs.
In this talk, the founders of OA will discuss how digital wellbeing affords new opportunities to save costs and deliver exciting, productive and health-conscious ways of living and working.

"Building a state-of-the-art VR/AR Incubator Space"

Virtual & Augmented Reality have taken the world by storm. To enable everyone from startups to corporates to develop projects in this space - while also collaborating and knowledge-sharing - VRBASE launched incubators in three European cities. From these vibrant hubs they connect all members throughout the European bases: Encouraging and supporting regular exchange with international partners who run similar hubs - such as the Realities Center in London or Upload in San Francisco and LA.
In his talk, Daan will discuss how they build a 1.600sqm workspace for VR/AR creators in Amsterdam (with similar plans for Berlin) and founded XR Basefund, Europe’s first VC fund dedicated to investing in seed- and later stage ventures in the XR industry.
