What we’re about

GAMMA, which is not affiliated with any other organization, is a peer support group for gay and bisexual men who are presently or formerly married or in a relationship with a woman. Some members are in conventional marriages, some in open marriages; some are separated, some divorced, some widowed, some with lovers, some without, some in yet other arrangements - all are welcome and will find among us others who share their particular style of life.

GAMMA has no official party line. It neither encourages or discourages its members from continuing or forming relationships with their wives, other women, or other men. Rather, it seeks to assist each member in finding his own best road to travel in life. Much of this is accomplished through open, candid discussion and sympathetic sharing of thoughts, experiences, and feelings among members in a safe, confidential space.

GAMMA meets from 6:30 - 8:00 pm every Wednesday of the month via Zoom. Meetings, facilitated by experienced members of the group, are open information-sharing sessions, and they proceed as follows. After initial introductions and updates by each attendee, there is a general discussion relating to issues of those still in a marriage, separated, divorced, and general issues. A voluntary contribution of $20.00, or whatever you can afford, is periodically collected to cover semiannual Meetup expenses and monthly Zoom expenses. There are no mandatory dues or fees.
