September 23, 2018 - 2-5 pm Program: It's Swellagant! Leader: Anita Kennerley Q: What is Swellegant? A: Metal Coatings that can be applied to all surfaces, including polymer clay, glass, wood, ceramic, concrete, foam, metal and resin. It is very durable, outdoor-safe, water-based, non-toxic and non-hazardous. It is made of finely ground metal suspended in a binder. Anita will show how to use it on Polymer Clay. ​Supplies & Tools: 1 cured small (1-2 inch) polymer item- can be made with scrap clay since it will be covered with Swellegant product. We will be using the Swellegant product on baked clay. Gloves, soft paint brush, cup for water & cleaning, mini bathroom cups or condiment cups for product, paper towels, a plastic bag or table cloth to protect the table and work on top of. ​Basic Polymer Clay Tool Kit: Pasta Machine w/clamp, handle, wood block to protect table, work surface, cutting blade, acrylic roller. Bring your work to show off! We meet from 2:00 to 5:00. Reminder the room must be clean and put back together before we leave.
