Daisy Mayorga, GDG Organizer
I am a project manager at Bitwise Industries. Before Bitwise I was in the wine industry, working for the worlds largest winery, E & J Gallo Winery, for 14 years. While at Gallo I gained experience in manufacturing, distribution, training, media, Lean Six Sigma, safety and development. I got to experience first hand how the fourth industrial revolution shifted the job market in manufacturing to focus more on automation rather than manual labor.
I graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. I was a winner of the Computer Science Capstone Award for Spottr, a location scouting app for photographers. I became a Google Developer Group organizer and Women Techmakers Ambassador in 2019 and have been working to bring an inclusive and diverse technology community to Modesto.
I was born in Honduras. I grew up in the Bay Area and moved to Modesto. I have a 6 year old daughter who is a fashion icon and super hero.
