I'm a Senior Product Executive at Interswitch Group. Previously worked as a Developer Community Manager which is part of Developer Relations at Decoded Africa and Africa's Talking.
I am passionate about technology, developer communities and innovations.
I channel my passion for technology through training developers and working on curriculums to facilitate knowledge sharing. In the spirit of nurturing the youth, I mentor students (Primary,High School and Universities) and young developers and I have served as a Master Trainer at Youth for Technology Foundation, an international non-profit organization that works with youth and women demonstrating the power of appropriate technology in education and entrepreneurship.
I led the Google Developer Group (JKUAT chapter 2017) and Developer Students Club (JKUAT chapter 2018/2019) where I organized developer community focused events and oversaw growth of student developers from 500 to 2100. I have organized many local meetups, workshops and hackathons which have created positive impact in the tech ecosystem.
I'm currently a member and co-organizer of Google Developer Group and Women Tech Makers Nairobi with the aim of empowering more women to join the tech industry.
My greatest accomplishments include graduating with a degree in Computer Science, receiving an award as an outstanding student in Technology and Innovation at JKUAT and attending Google I/O 2019 in California amongst outstanding Developer Student Club leads in Sub-Saharan Africa.
