Google Developer Group Oxford (GDG Oxford) is the community for Google Developers in Oxfordshire.

Startups: Helping emerging companies with ideas, technical advice, infrastructure, mentoring etc.

GDG Oxford meets several times each month in Oxford. We have created DevSpace - a community space in Osney Mead for developers, Datascientists and Startups. We also run Ox4Dev - a festival for developers.

Our meetings will, where possible, be free and open. We aim to work closely with Universities, Business Schools, Technical Colleges and Companies in the area. We co-host, help and work with with other developer and technical skills groups - Java, Python, Javascript, DataScience, Biotech etc. We like to give back to communities and help Not for Profit Groups and Charities.

Don’t be frightened
Developers aren’t all experienced full-time employees for enterprise companies - business people trying to design better websites, create an app or get on the cloud. We all have to learn - students are welcome to join our Future Developer programme to gain valuable business experience as well as technical skills. And our Develop the Developer Programme will add depth and breadth to your skillset.

NB: we advise on methods and products we believe are best, not to maximise sales of Google products or services. GDG Oxford is an independent group; activities and opinions expressed here should in no way be linked to Google, the corporation.
